Jada Pinkett Smith Apologizes To Will Smith’s Ex Wife, Sheree

In a recent event of the red-table sitdown, Jada Pinket Smith had Will Smith’s ex-wife, Sheree, as a guest. We’re positive that everyone is already familiar with the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’, but what about his past?

Will Smith met Jada in 1995, after she had auditioned to star as Will’s girlfriend on the iconic TV series known as “Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”

Unfortunately, Jada failed the audition but still found her way to Will’s heart. At the time, Smith was already married to Sheree Zampino, whom he had a child with. In a recent episode of “Red Table Talk,” a Facebook exclusive Watch series, Jada & Will talk about the beginning of their relationship and the struggles to keep it afloat.

Smith revealed that a divorce was never an option for him, but was the one he had to take eventually. Sheree and Will had a son, Trey, whom they welcomed in 1992. The relationship between Smith and Sheree only lasted for a brief amount of time, before letting it go in 1995.

Will Smith went on to marry Jada in 1997, in a New Year’s Eve ceremony at the Baltimore’s Cloisters Mansion.

Jada’s apology to Sheree

Jada talked about her beginnings with Will, saying that it was rough: “The beginning between us was rough, here’s the one thing I will say in hindsight, because I did not understand marriage, I didn’t understand divorce, I will say that I probably should’ve fell back.”

Sheree smilingly replied with “You think?” and Jada continued explaining: “I would’ve fell back because I feel like when Will and I first started dating, you know, I had this thing in my mind, I was like, ‘Oh OK…”

“Well you did that and that’s done,” she added.
