The Teen Mom: Family Reunion has been in full swing for awhile now, but favorite Teen Mom star, Catelynn Lowell was noticeably missing. She made a surprise appearance with her co-stars for the finale episode which caused some to be overcome with emotion.
Cate was unable to participate in filming for the spin off as it began days after she gave birth to her youngest daughter, Rya.
In the finale episode, Cate showed up and surprised her co stars, Maci, Ashley Jones, Jade Cline, Briana DeJesus, Leah Messer, and Amber Portwood while they were having lunch together.
Upon seeing Cate, there were audible gasps and screams from the girls and the hugging commenced. Co star, Maci Bookout could be seen sobbing as she hugged her friend.
Next, the girls caught Cate up on all the gossip and drama that has happened during filming.
Cate sat down at the table and immediately asked: “What’s the tea?”
Her co stars then reminisced about filming and all the ups and downs and also discussed Farrah Abraham’s brief appearance for filming and the drama that it brought.
Cate admitted that she wished she could have been there to be part of the show saying:
“I wish I could have been here the whole time.”
She then had a drink with her pals and announced:
“Woo, first drink after nine months!”
During an offscreen confessional Cate said:
“I think this is really what the teen mom family needed. Just being able to get together and put everything aside.”
Later that night, Cate joined the rest of the cast for an therapeutic bonfire.
Each cast member took the time to write down something they wanted to “let go of” on a piece of paper and then threw it into the flames of the fire.
When her turn came, Cate stood and announced:
“I want to let go of my mom anxiety. I have tons and tons of mom anxiety about my kids.”
She concluded with:
“What’s meant to be will be, good or bad, so I just want to let that go.”
