Being a reality-TV star comes with certain benefits, and it definitely showed when the ‘Teen Mom’ stars held wedding receptions.
It’s not every day that you’re getting married, so all the ‘teen moms’ made sure to make the best use of everything at their disposal, from wedding locations to extra-fancy wedding dresses.
Jenelle Evans
Jenelle Evans was determined to make her wedding reception as special as it gets.
She started off by selecting a french-inspired wedding dress that cost about $3,000.
If her wedding dress had a bio, it would sound something like this:
“French-inspired lace and delicate linear paneling elongate the figure and highlight a bride’s curves in this classically romantic wedding dress by designer Martina Liana…”
Jenelle’s backyard rustic-themed wedding was pretty ‘special’ and ‘lavish’ when everything is taken into consideration.
Reportedly, MTV shilled out as much as $15,000 to film his & hers wedding reception.
The whole fee was tagged as a ‘location fee,’ that MTV had to pay up in order to film on David & Jenelle’s land.
Maci Bookout
Maci’s wedding was quite exceptional, especially when it comes down to wedding photos.
It was rumored that MTV took upon themselves to handle a portion of the expenses, giving Maci a budget of $10,000 for her wedding reception.
The whole wedding was planned out by the Tallahassee Association of Wedding Professionals.
“Being so busy, Maci didn’t have much time to plan her own wedding, which is why she put all her trust in TAWP. Kate planned the entire wedding for Maci and developed the décor plan off one picture of a burgundy and gold bridal bouquet that Maci showed her,” the wedding planner revealed.
Maci’s wedding ring was especially gorgeous-looking!
Chelsea Houska
Chelsea & Cole’s wedding was indeed special, as the family had crowned their relationship with a baby, Watson, at the time of the reception.
“we got to celebrate our marriage with all the people we love and had a fricken BLAST. I love this man,” Chelsea wrote on Instagram at the time.
Her bridal dress cost anywhere from $1,500 to $3,000 and we can imagine that the budget wasn’t too strict for the rest of it.
Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra
All of the ‘Teen Mom’ weddings were pretty special, but this one brought tears to everyone’s eyes.
Catelynn & Tyler’s wedding reception was held at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan.

Despite the ‘feelings,’ the high-school sweethearts weren’t too soft on the budget, as the starting rate for Castle Farms is $7,000 per 100 guests.
