‘Teen Mom’ Jobs Revealed, See What The Moms Do For A Living

The ‘Teen Mom’ series showed us what it’s like to be a ‘teen mom,’ but that’s only half of the story. The girls aren’t just taking care of their kids, they’re also doing some things we aren’t aware of while watching the TV series.

What do the girls do for a living?

While most of the reality-TV stars usually don’t have a ‘normal’ job, the ‘teen mom’ stars tend to differ.

Although MTV puts an emphasis on their daily lives and taking care of children, the fans still manage to find out what the girls actually do to earn a living for their families.

Mostly known for her appearance on ‘Teen Mom 2,’ Chelsea went through a lot as a teenager and had to get a job to support her family.

Since Chelsea’s own family was supportive of her own decisions, she decided to get an aesthetician license.

Chelsea used to work at a beauty salon/spa, where she accommodated her customers with many of the techniques she learned over the course of years.

She also did makeup at weddings and private events.

As of now, she’s mainly a stay-at-home mom.

On the other hand, Chelsea’s husband, Cole, works as a traffic control specialist, bringing home anywhere from $40k to $54k a year.

Before getting pregnant with Bentley and being cast for MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant,’ Maci was pursuing a degree in Media Technology,
at the Chattanooga State Community College.

As it usually goes, pregnancy brings huge responsibilities and requires great sacrifice in order to keep going.

Her most recent social-media posts indicate that she scored a commercial not so long ago for a credit card company.

It is worth noting that she wasn’t the face of the brand, but she worked behind-the-scenes on getting all pieces together.

Her husband, Taylor McKinney, realized his dream of owning a T-shirt company, where the two get along very well.

“I don’t brand it as me from MTV or on TV, if people don’t watch the show then they would never know that I’m on TV. I don’t bring it up,” Maci said in an interview [about the t-shirt company].

After being cast for the show, Catelynn Lowell & her husband, Tyler Baltierra, didn’t stop dreaming about owning their own business.

Things started getting along when the two authored a book,

“Conquering Chaos.”

In addition to being a stay-at-home mommy, Catelynn runs the family’s t-shirt business, alongside her hubby.

“I think people really hated on me seeing me be at home all the time with my kid… That in itself is a full-time job,” she revealed in an interview.

“TierraReign,” is the brand’s name.

“Hip & handmade threads for your little ones,” the company’s bio reads.

“Between teen motherhood, financial hurdles in the beginning, then moving to a new state, marriage, babies, and divorce… and then of course just wanting to give up, I (barely) held on,” she revealed on Twitter.

Adding that:

“This has been an extremely long and emotional road for me and for my family.”

In her spare time, Kailyn’s an aspiring author for kids & moms. Her portoflio of books is made of “Love is a bubblegum,” “Prider over Pitty” and “Hustle & Heart.”

Amber Portwood

The 29-year-old mom collects paychecks for her appearances on ‘Teen Mom: OG,” but is that all of it?

Reportedly, Amber owns a Real Estate LLC and likes to invest in properties. “Being the boss yourself is hard. I don’t think people understand you really are the running force of it,” Amber revealed to IB Times.

I just want to have a good future and be my own boss,” she added.

Despite the reports claiming that Jenelle might quit filming ‘Teen Mom,’ that still isn’t the case.

For all we know, the reality-TV star is still collecting paychecks froM MTV and even has a side business.

Jenelle holds a degree in clinical medical assisting, but she hasn’t put it to use as of now. She’s mainly a stay-at-home mom whilst advertising brands on her most-followed social media page, the Instagram one.
