Teen Mom star Leah Messer has had a bunch of different relationships since we first met her, including two failed marriages. Leah just admitted that she doesn’t feel secure in her new relationship either and that she doesn’t trust her new boyfriend, Jaylan Mobley.
Leah has been with Jaylan openly for months now, so what’s the issue? Leah is worried that Jaylan might be too good to be true. A problem we all wish we had.
In a new clip for Teen Mom: Family Reunion, the Teen Mom spin off series, Leah can be seen questioning if her relationship with Jaylan is even real, because basically it’s that amazing.
In the clip, Leah is having an intimate conversation with friend and fellow Teen Mom star, Ashley Jones. Leah really opened up about her relationship, which included lots of praise towards Jaylan.
Leah told Ashley:
“Jaylan is a really great guy. And he’s cool, he’s so kind.”
She continued by saying:
“The chemistry is there. The connection is there.”
“He’s very career driven. He has his long term goals, his short terms goals. He’s very intelligent. Thoughtful. Compassionate.”
But surprisingly, when Ashley asked Leah if she was “open to that”, meaning all that Jaylan brings to the table, Leah’s response was that she in fact is not.
She said:
“I’m not, I don’t think that I don’t deserve it, but I also think I’m a little bit, ‘is this real?”
She explained a little further by saying:
“Are you really compassionate? Are you really caring? Are you going to stay this way? Because what happens if you don’t?”
Leah than admitted that the fact that Jaylan is younger and less life experience/no kids of his own has her nervous too.
She told Ashley:
“Maybe I have attracted someone that’s great, but at the same time I’m a little guarded, a little scared.”
“But he’s like it’s fine, we’re going to work through it.”
