Chelsea and Cole DeBoer are one of the most famous ‘Teen Mom’ celebrity couples. They met at a gas station and have been inseparable ever since. An unconventional love story, indeed!
The craziest things you didn’t know about Chelsea & Cole DeBoer
MTV’s ‘Teen Mom 2’ does a great job at showcasing the ordinary family life, but some of the fans find that extremely repetitive and boring.
‘Teen Mom’ is a family show, after all. The things that happen outside of the box are usually hidden in between the lines.
Chelsea’s Playboy stint
Despite being the ‘perfect’ girl she usually is, even Chelsea Houska had her moments of indulgence.
Reportedly, Chelsea was ready to star for the Playboy magazine in her early ‘Teen Mom’ days, but the stint was prevented with the help of her father, Randy Houska.
According to a 2012 report by Celebrity Laundy, Chelsea took it upon herself to kickstart her influencer career and tried doing so by opening a new website.
“I went ahead and began work and immediately reached out to several companies for her to endorse her own lines, and worked MANY hours updating her website and communicating with her back and forth,” the source revealed at the time.
“She then expressed her interests in posing for Playboy and Maxim magazine, and when I told her that I could make that happen she was so excited,” the source continued.
Adding that: “The next day, however, I got a text from her father stating that Playboy was not the route that Chelsea wanted to take. Maybe Chelsea was drunk when she told me that, because she surely said it loud and proud on the phone in front of her friends.”
Whether this info is true or not, it’s certainly a thing that was at least appealing to Chelsea at the time.
Cole’s first official meet up with Randy Houska
Chelsea and Cole are always sweet to each other, but the way Cole acted whilst drunk made Randy believe him even more so.
In a podcast interview, Randy shared the story of how he met Cole for the first time ever.
“I’ll tell you how I knew he was a good dude. The first time I met him, she brought him here to this cabin,” he started off.
“She brought him here and I met him, and there is this tiny hole in the wall bar/gas station/restaurant/whatever, and uh we went there and that’s where all the locals hang out,” he continued.
“We sat up there, and we might of got drunk,” Randy explained.
Adding that: “I think he was just kind of nervous. You know he got kind of drunk, but the drunker he got the nicer he was to her so I figured, that’s a pretty good test instead of being an a–…”
TLDR; The ‘fizzier’ Cole got, the better he behaved to Chelsea, and in Randy’s book, that accounts for something!
