Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry has had a lot going on these last few months, including moving into a new house, lawsuits and conflicts with co-stars, and of course baby daddy drama. Now she’s also facing rumors that she was fired from the Teen Mom franchise. Kailyn shared on social media that she is currently struggling with depression.
Kail took to Twitter to share her feelings.
She tweeted:
“Depression is kicking my a**.”
Kail also took to Instagram give fans a glimpse inside her world.
She posted a picture of herself laying in bed and looking gloomy with her makeup free face.
On the picture she wrote:
“how I feel about the f*ckery I woke up to”
Kail didn’t specify exactly why she was depressed but many fans speculate that it could be a number of things.
One reason could be because she reportedly has not filmed for MTV in over 6 months.
Rumors are flying around that she was fired from the series for unknown reasons.
We do know that she has not been on good terms with MTV since they contracted with her ex/baby daddy, Chris Lopez without discussing it with her. She refused to join the cast for the spin off, Teen Mom: Family Reunion shortly after that happened.
We also know that it was revealed this week that MTV will most likely be combining Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 to create one show, and this will mean major cuts for producers and some moms.
Another reason could be because fans suspect she has had a falling out with her best friend/co star, Leah Messer.
Kail unfollowed all but eleven people on her Instagram account. Among those unfollowed was Leah.
One fan noted:
“Kail unfollowed everyone on IG, except for her kids and Chelsea. She even unfollowed Natalie, Vee, Lindsie, etc. She is exhausting.”
Kail did eventually re-follow some of those she had gotten rid of before, but we still don’t know exactly what prompted her to unfollow so many people.
In a Q&A session Kail was asked why she unfollowed some people and she simply replied that she doesn’t “trust anyone”.
Many fans were concerned about Kail’s mental health and offered their support and well wishes to the star.
One fan said:
“I’m so sorry. I think anyone would be having a hard time dealing with the bulls**t other people are throwing at you.”
Another added:
“You’re not alone Kail. I also struggle with depression at times, so I understand and can appreciate your transparency.”
And another commented:
“Sending you love and hugs,” while one chimed in, “Girl, I feel you.”
