Leah Messer and her boyfriend, Jaylan Mobley have been together for awhile now, but that doesn’t mean we know all there is to know about the love of her life. Jaylan has some pretty dark and painful secrets about his past.
It was exclusively reported to the Sun, that Jaylan’s past is not quite what we imagined for the clean cut soldier.
It turns out that Jaylan’s mother has a pretty colorful criminal history.
Tywana Mobley has been arrested on multiple occasions for crimes such as larceny, financial transaction card fraud and financial transaction card theft, and withholding.
She has also had multiple stints in jail in 1989, 1994, 2008, and 2009 for those various crimes.
Tywana was even a fugitive on the run for weeks after she went on a spree of stealing wallets and purses from hospitals, school, and other local business in her hometown of Charlotte, NC.
Most recently as last year, Tywana was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence). At that time, the mom of three was seen smiling in her mugshot.
Despite her checkered past, it appears that Jaylan still accepts his mother and she still plays a big part in his life.

Considering that Leah also comes from a somewhat dysfunctional family, with her father also having a criminal background, it possible that this connection has brought the pair closer.
The couple have spent a ton of time together, including all holidays, since proclaiming their love for each other last year. The couple has also been under constant suspicions of fans of expecting a child together. Every time the pair posts a photo together fans clamor and point out a possible baby belly on Leah, despite her multiple attempts to deny the claims.
