Teen Mom star Leah Messer has had her share of bad relationships, but her newest one seems to be working out well. When Leah couldn’t be in two places at once, her new beau, Jaylan Mobley picked up the slack.
Leah took to social media to praise her new lover for “loving us the way you do”.
She posted a video clip of her daughter Addie’s Christmas performance along with a small picture of Jaylan and set the post to a song called “Glad you exist” by country band Dan + Shay.
On the post she wrote:
“Thank you @Jaylan_Mobley ..Thank you for loving us the way you do. Thank you for showing up and sending me photos/videos of Addies Xmas performance while I was at Alis first band concert. After working all day and driving a total of 4 hours, you wanted to be there. You didn’t want to miss her performance for anything. We love you so much, and we’re so grateful to have you. You’re honestly the best, we are so lucky, & ilysm!!”
Leah also thanked a friend for taking the pic of Jaylan from behind.
She said:
“Thanks (friend) for taking this pic and sending it to me. He was so happy to be there and (Addie) was so excited.”
It all looks super sweet and romantic, but some fans are worried that Leah is moving too fast too soon.

“Ah this is a toughie. Do I think on paper it’s too soon? Yep.”
Another said:
“It’s inappropriate, creepy, incredibly unsafe and gross AF to push her role as a parent onto someone who’s basically a stranger to her girls (and practically Leah too). Of course this conversation would be way different if he was an actual step parent, but the truth is that he’s not even close. At 4 months, Leah herself barely knows him.”
Others noted that she has acted like this in previous relationships that didn’t work out.

“She is super immature and doesn’t learn from her past mistakes, ie, regretting doing this same exact thing with Jason. The girls were really vocal that they didn’t like it, and that still hasn’t stopped her from doing it once more. I think Leah can be very selfish at times, and only think about what she wants.”
Whatever the feelings towards the relationship, it looks like Jaylan may be in their life for awhile.
Leah even had family pictures taken that included Jaylan this Fall. The couple and Leah’s daughters’ all wore matching Fall colors and posed for a family photo among fall trees and christmas lights.
Recently, Leah posted clips of herself and Jaylan and two of her daughters going to pick a Christmas tree. It seems as though she is making him part of the family and holiday traditions and so far the girls see happy about it.
